Details: I'm a fibre artist living southeast and just down the road from the middle of Nowhere, Southwestern Ontario. I'm retired from a hodge podge of a work history including commercial and commissioned art works. (Someone asked me once how you "retire" as an artist and I told them you stop declaring any income to Revenue Canada!) I do strange things with fibre, fabric and found objects that include but are not limited to quilting, garment sewing, knitting and collage. I also collect, build and decorate dollhouses but - like most of what I do - not always in a traditional fashion. I live with a man, a St Bernard, a shepherd-husky cross, a Yorkie and four cats in a sprawling museum of a farmhouse I cannot keep clean (and don't try as hard as I used to). I enjoy cooking and (sometimes) baking but I also like eating, probably my chief vice. I lost the battle of the bulge a long time ago. I have two grown and married children and one one-year-old (at time of writing) granddaughter. I have a few treasured friends without whom I would undoubtedly not have made it this far.
